At Those Who Care Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and enriching the lives of cancer patients and their families. We aim to ease the burdens associated with financial struggles during their tough times.

Each month of the year holds a certain cancer awareness. For this reason, we are challenged to support patients and their families as often as we can. It is only through the support, sponsorship, and donations from the community that we are able to do this.
Diagnosed in 2019 with a rare form of leukemia. Through many tests, treatments and Dr appointments, locally, there was not much that could be done to aid in a cure for her condition. She had to seek the treatment from Dr's, and other clinicians at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Through her treatments, surgeries, tests, doctor visits, travel expenses to include lodging, meals, and fuel, she and her family became greatly overwhelmed by the financial toll the expenses were taking on them. With the short notice given to us regarding the need the financial strains the family was experiencing, we felt compelled to do something that would help her and her family out. Although not given much time to put together a fundraiser on a grand scale, we were able to raise money to assist Rebekah and her family. Through several trips made, and many overnight stays, our efforts aided in some much needed financial relief for Rebekah and her family.
After a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic, Rebekah is a SURVIVOR of leukemia.

Diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic cancer in April 2025, Terra has had to stop working due to the affects that this condition has on her. Since the onset of her illness, she finds herself in constant pain, and discomfort, and experiences frequent nausea & vomiting that impedes on (what was once) her daily routiine. She is unable to work, and has been unable to experience and enjoy most of the daily activities that she was able to take advantage of only a few months ago. Today, she is having to look to family and friends to aide her in many tasks that we each tend to take for granted.
She is unable to sit outdoors, finds discomfort in simply sitting upright most times, finds it difficult to ambulate within her home without stumbling. bathing has become a chore, as has other activities of daily living. Terra enjoys traveling to see her children and Grandchildren. Since the onset of her cancer, her energy level has become merely depleted, and extended trip of any length are now unbearable.
After multiple hospitalizations, tests, chemotherapy sessions, Terra continues to face the challenges that her present to her and her family. Medical bills, co-pays, travel expenses, and meals are just a few of the expenses that she and her family are faced with.
Terra is a United States Navy Veteran who has served her country and community. With as much as she has given through her service, let's work together to give back to her.
